Has potential to become a solid middle-order batsmen for Gangladesh. Impressed in the leagues and with a successful tour of India (October/November, 2001) with the A team, Sanwar is back in the national team after almost a three year absence. 

Career highlights: 
  • 120 against Maharashtra CA in a three day match (October 29)
  • Shared a 252 runs partnership with Tushar Imran (202) in that same innings. 
  • 124 against Mumbai CA in a three day match (October 22). 
  • 52 in ODI against Zimbabwe (November 2001) sharing a 116 run third-wicket partnership with Sumon (66).
  • 45 against New Zealand at Hamilton on his Test debut.
