How to use the Tigers Message Board
Main Window
This is how the main window looks like when you get to the board for
the first time. It shows the following information (from top to bottom):
1. XMB logo
2. Not logged in - You can either (click on) register or if
you have already registered, you can (click on) login with your user name
or password. You only need to log in if you want to post a message. You
don't need to log in if you are just going to read the messages.
3. Member List: Shows a list of the members.
4. Search: You can search for specific messages/words on the
board.
5. FAQ: Frequently asked questions (if you have any).
6. You are not registered .... logged in: You can login here,
you don't have to use the number 2 option.
7. Default Forum: Shows the forum you are in. At this moment
we have only one forum. I will add a football forum within a day or two.
8. Topics/Posts: Shows the number of live topics and total number
of posts on the forum.
9. Last Post: Gives the name of the last user to leave a post
(message) and the date and time of the post. You can click on the little
arrow button next to the user name (by Tehsin) to go directly to that post.
10. Who's online: Show the number of guests and members logged
into the board.
11. Newest member: Shows the nick of the newest member of the
board.
Moving on - Click on "Default Forum" to go to the board.
You can Click on the Subject (Pilot unfit ... or Teststatus) to go directly to the topic itself.

On general view, this is how it is broken dow:
Subject: Subject used by the member for the topic.
Author: Name/nick of the member originating the topic.
Replies: How many replies were post don that topic
Views: How many times the topic has been viewed.
Last post: Who was the last member to post a reply to the topic
and the date/time of the reply. You can also click on the arrow next to
the member name to go directly to that post.

Notice the two options provided on this page.
New Topic: Click on it to start your own new topic. You will
have to log in (if you haven't already) to post a new topic.
New poll: Added advantage. If you feel strongly about some issue
and you want to poll people on that issue, just click on it. members can
both leave a written reply and vote on the poll. Remember to ask them to
vote.

When you click on the "subject", it takes you to the topic that the subject refers to. I clicked on the Subject "Mohsin Kamal - Oh NO!) and I was taken to the topic. Here you can read the topic and all the replies to the topic.
Notice that the window shows some added information about the member too. In this case, Shubho originated the post. Notice that he is ranked as a newbie (we all know he isn't but since it's a new board, everyone starts afresh) - this is based on the number of post by the member. I will get into the rankings later. It also shows that Shubho has only made one post to the board, shows the day he registered with us and his location. This information were provided by him when he registered with us.

Notice here that we have a new option. We are already familiar with "new topic" and "new poll". "New reply" allows you to post a reply on the board on this topic. Every topic will have this option on the top left corner of the window.

We are already familiar with the above. I used some effects to focus on what's pertinent to us. We have gone through "member List", and the Login option, here's a brief look at the other two.
Default Forum: Takes you to the forum
view.
Mohsin Kamal - OH NO!: Is the topic you are viewing at
this moment.
This way, you always know where you are.
